Julie Nelson is an architect and a partner at BSKS. Her portfolio includes the Queens Botanical Garden Visitor and Administration Center, which won the AIA COTE Top Ten Award, and the conversion of a 19th century Scottish church into an energy-efficient residence. Nelson has served on the AIANYs COTE Policy Committee and as a sustainable design critic at City College. She received a master in architecture and a BS, both from the University of Virginia. Nelson describes herself as an avid gardener. She is married. MK
