    Larry Lipton is the chief financial officer of Sheryl & Charles Kushner Family Foundation.

    Previously, he was chief financial officer of the Kushner Companies, a privately-held and family-owned real estate developer and landlord. Lipton, who was born in the Bronx and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, joined Kushner in April 2013.

    Before joining Kushner, Lipton was the chief financial officer of the property management business of Related Companies, the New York City-based property firm controlled by Stephen Ross that owns 5,000 units of luxury residential rentals in the city and developed the Time Warner Center. Lipton spent 22 years at Related, which he joined in 1991. He worked on Related's 2011 bulk acquisition of a 25 percent stake in an inventory of foreclosed multi-family homes from Fannie Mae.

    Lipton got his start in real estate at consultancy Touche Ross, now Deloitte, working in the firms real estate auditing practice from 1986 to 1991. He attended Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ and has an MBA from Baruch College. He is a certified public accountant in New York State. He is married and has two sons.
