    Louis Rosado

    Executive, Real Estate
    Capital One Bank
    90 Park Avenue
    New York, NY

Louis Rosado has been with Capital One Bank since 2007, serving as one of its commercial real estate go to executives, leading a team of lenders with a $2.5 billion portfolio. He has underwritten loans for various properties, including hotels, offices, and multi-family units, many of which were new construction.
Rosado began his career as a loan officer at Union Savings on Long Island, until the nearly 100-year-old bank was acquired by Home Federal Savings Bank in 1992. Rosado stayed on with that bank for five years, serving as vice president loan officer, until it, too, was acquired by North Fork Bank.
North Fork Bank had a reputation during the 1990s as an aggressive acquirer in the New York City market, but in 2007 it was acquired itself by Capital One Bank, where Rosado joined as a senior vice president and commercial real estate relationship manager.
Rosado graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelors degree in banking and finance, and later from New York University with a masters degree in real estate. He is also an associate member of the Appraisal Institute, a professional association of real estate appraisers.
