MaryAnne Gilmartin

President and CEO
Forest City Ratner
1 MetroTech Center North
Brooklyn, NY 11201
718-923-8400

Mary Anne Gilmartin is president and CEO at Forest City Ratner, a New York real estate development company. At Forest City Ratner she has overseen the controversial 22-acre Atlantic Yards (now Pacific Park) development project in Brooklyn that includes the sports stadium and entertainment venue known as Barclays Center. Additionally, she headed up efforts in the development of the new New York Times Building and the New York by Gehry residential skyscraper (8 Spruce Street). She manages the commercial portfolio at MetroTech, the 11-building, 6.7 million-square-foot office complex and Forest City Ratner’s first major development project in Brooklyn.

In 2013, GIlmartin succeeded Bruce Ratner as CEO at Forest City Ratner. Since that time Gilmartin has stated that low-income housing should be a top priority for the city, although currently her firm is not known for these kinds of developments. Also in 2013, Gilmartin personally relocated from her home in Westchester, NY to a brownstone in Park Slope, Brooklyn, close to the Forest City Ratner offices.

She is a graduate of Fordham University.  -WP
