Michael DeCheser is a vice president of sales at Cushman & Wakefield following its 2015 acquisition of Massey Knakal Realty Services, the biggest investment-sales brokerage in New York City in number of deals.

During his 15 years with Massey Knakal, he has been involved in the sales of more than 100 buildings worth a total of more than $1 billion. He currently specializes in Alphabet City, Chinatown and the Lower East Side. DeCheser, who started at the firm as assistant to Chairman Robert Knakal, formerly specialized in lower Manhattan, where he worked as sales director for Massey Knakal.

Prior to joining the firm, he helped manage a family construction and real estate management firm. DeCheser, in fact, has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry.  -TA
