    Paul Pariser is co-chief executive officer of Taconic Investment Partners, a developer and operator of commercial and residential properties. He and fellow co-CEO Charles Bendit founded the firm in 1997. The two are regularly named to Commercial Observer's Power 100 listing of the most powerful people in New York real estate.

    Before starting Taconic, Pariser was president and CEO of Balfour Holdings, which bought and redeveloped master planned communities, and he directed the sale of the company to Blackstone.

    Pariser entered real estate in 1978, when he become one of the first Jones Lang Wootton employees in the United States, eventually becoming a co-managing partner and directing the firms U.S. operations. Pariser is a member of the board of governors of the Real Estate Board of New York. He graduated from Washington University of St. Louis, and holds an MBA from Columbia University.
