The vast majority of multifamily investors anticipate that rents will rise in their property this year, according to a new survey from commercial brokerage Berkadia.
The firm surveyed 240 clients in January 2025 for their first Multifamily Investor Sentiment Survey.
Just 3 percent of those surveyed said they expect rents to drop moderately, while none predicted a significant drop.
The survey also found that most investors – 63 percent of those questioned – do not believe apartment supply will outweigh renter demand.
