Richard Baxter is vice chairman at Colliers International's New York Capital Markets group. Baxter left JLL for Colliers International in December 2016 with Yoron Cohen and Scott Latham.

Over the course of his career he has been a part of transactions in office, multi-family, retail and development that total over $20 billion. He specializes in investment sales. Before joining JLL, he was on the Cushman & Wakefield sales team that sold 666 Fifth Avenue and the Plaza Hotel. Prior to Cushman, he was at ESG/Insignia for 16 years.

Back in 1997, Baxter represented the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in their 360,300-square-foot lease at 2 Federal Reserve Plaza. In 2013, Baxter led a team that sold the 21-story, 1.2 million-square-foot office building at 237 Park Avenue for $810 million. He was also on the team that sold Nostras Carnegie Hill building at 12 East 88th Street in 2014.

He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
