Robert Franco is a senior vice president at The Albanese Organization, Inc., a privately-held and family-run residential and commercial real estate developer based on Long Island. Franco, who joined the firm in 2008, works on sourcing, underwriting, and financing new projects and has overseen $2 billion in transaction volume to date in his 10-year career in real estate. Before 2008, Franco worked at Rockrose Development Corp., in the developers commercial acquisitions group. He is a certified public accountant and worked at Goodman, Glatt and Weiss, an accounting firm that is now called Glatt, Maney & Kling, P.C. Franco is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and of the Urban Land Institute's mentor program. In 1994, Franco received a BS from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He has an MBA in finance from Baruch College. -MK
