Stephen McRae is a senior global real estate advisor and associate broker at Sothebys Realty International, a luxury real estate brokerage firm in New York. At Sothebys, McRae operates out of the companys Downtown Manhattan brokerage. He joined Sothebys in 1996, after ending a career as an archtect with notable New York firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

McRaes big deals include the sale of Bridgehampton residence that last listed for $12.8 million. In the city, he and a team sold a 6,100-square-foot condo at 397 West 12th Street for $6.4 million in 2010 and a penthouse at 102 Prince Street for $10.7 million. However, no deal tops McRaes Sohos Crowning Jewel, a 7,500-square-foot loft/penthouse sold at an undisclosed address with a final asking price of $26.5 million.

With a bachelors degree in architectural history and French with minors in mathematics and German McRae has a diverse academic history. Additionally, he holds a masters degree in architecture from Columbia University.
