Susi Yu is an executive vice president at Forest City Ratner, a Brooklyn based New York real estate development firm. Yu took over the position in 2014 for Melissa Burch who left Ratner to work for Australia-based Lend Lease. Yu had worked for Ratner for 12 years before a brief stint as senior vice president of development at The Howard Hughes Corporation from July 2015 until January 2015, where she led efforts to develop mixed-use properties at South Street Seaport in Manhattan.

At Ratner, Yu heads up the development of residential real estate projects. In 2004 she worked on the 8 Spruce Street project, the residential skyscraper designed by Frank Gehry and more recently has overseen the development of B2 at Pacific Park (Atlantic Yards), the worlds largest modular housing project. Prior to her work at Ratner and Hyghes, Yu was an architect at Robert AM Stern Architects in New York.

Yu is a graduate of both the University of Virginia School of Architecture and Columbia University.  -WP
