Vincent Carrega is a veteran investment sales broker who spent most of his career at Grubb & Ellis before the firm filed for bankruptcy and was acquired by BGC Partners. Carrega joined Avison Young in 2012 as one of many brokers the Canadian-based firm snapped up in the wake of the Grubb acquisition.

He represents buyers and sellers of investment properties, with a focus on development deals. Most of his deals are below $100 million.

Vincent Carrega works with and on behalf of a wide variety of top-tier investor, corporate, private, and individual owner clients, and has spent over 30 years operating in all aspects of real estate investment sales.

Before joining Avison Young, Carrega spent 30 years with Grubb & Ellis Investment Services Group in New York, where he was recognized as one of the firms top-producing investment sales brokers.

After joining Avison Young, Carrega helped handle marketing for the redevelopment of a 77,000 square foot Upper West Side parking garage into potential condominiums, estimated at $61 million.

While at Grubb & Ellis, Carrega represented the buyer and seller at 93 Worth Street to Izaki Group Investments, sold at $49.7 million. He also helped broker the $83.1 million bankruptcy-related sale of the Cabrini Medical Center in 2010.

Carrega is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, as well as the Urban Land Institute.
