William G. Melville is senior managing director at commercial real estate firm Lansco Corporation. Before joining Lansco, Melville worked in the buying offices of Macys New York, as well as in merchandising and sales at Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, and Valentino. He also aided in product development, budgeting, retailing, and wholesaling at those companies. That experience has helped Melville on the real estate side of things, consulting with companies such as Timberland, Hermes, Michael Kors, and Lulu Castagnette in finding office, retail, and showroom locations. Not restricted merely to the fashion industry, Melville also has corporate relationships with HSBC Bank USA, Cingular Wireless, Les Copains, and the Pioux XII Foundation. Melville graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelors degree in arts and from the American Graduate School of International Management with a masters in management. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
