100 West 33rd Street
New York, NY 10001
Office, Leasing/Rental

The former Gimbel Brothers Department Store (now Manhattan Mall), built in 1910 at 100 West 33rd Street, offers 248,920 square feet of retail space, out of a total of 1.04 million square feet at the address. The retail portion is anchored by JC Penneys first Manhattan store a 150,000-square-foot project that required a reconfiguration of the building by landlord Vornado Realty Trust. About 600,000 commuters pass through Penn Station every day upon which Manhattan mall is situated, and tourists swell the ranks of potential shoppers. The building has direct access to the Subway and NJ PATH trains.

Office tenants include Polo Ralph Lauren and advertising giant Interpublic Group. Advertising technology company Rocket Fuel almost doubled its space in the building in June 2014 to nearly 100,000 square feet, reportedly paying in the high $40s per square foot.

Vornado bought the property from Argent Ventures for $689 million in January 2007. The company has a total of 9 million square feet in the district, including 781,000 square feet of retail.
