1185 Sixth Avenue (or Avenue of the Americas), formerly known as J.P. Stevens Company Tower, is a 580-foot commercial office skyscraper in Midtown, Manhattan. It was designed by Emery Roth & Sons architects and constructed in 1971. The building contains nearly 1.1 million usable square feet.

New York REIT SL Green acquired the building in 2007 as part of a $6 billion buy out of Reckson Associates Realty Corp. As of Q4 of 2014, SL Green collected nearly $87.5 million in annualized rents from tenants at the tower. The tower has 19 tenants. Major tenants include Amerada Hess Corp. (180,000 square feet), King & Spalding (160,000 square feet), News Corp (162,000 square feet), Amazon (159,000 square feet), RSM McGladrey (129,000 square feet) and the National Hockey League (148,000 square feet).
