250 Livingston Avenue

250 Livingston Street
Brooklyn, NY 11201
Office, Leasing/Rental

250 Livingston Avenue is a 13-story, 325,041-square-foot office building in Downtown Brooklyn located between Bond and Hoyt Streets. In 2002, Clipper Equity, the real estate development and landlord firm of David Bistricer, acquired it for $26 million from Blackacre Capital Management, the real estate investment arm of Cerebus Capital Management. The deal was a 2-building portfolio transaction that also included another Downtown Brooklyn office building, 141 Livingston Street. Blackacre acquired both buildings in 2000. The citys fire department was a tenant at 250 Livingston until 1997. Tenants now include the city's Human Resources Administration, the Department of Environmental Protection, and the Department of General Services. They are likely paying below-market rent. The building is on the taller side for the Livingston Street corridor, a government office district. ¾-MK
