570 Lexington Avenue, also known as the General Electric Building, is a 50-story, 450,622-square-foot skyscraper in midtown Manhattan, erected in 1932 for the Radio Victor Corporation of America by the Bartholomew Building Corporation. The Art Deco tower, designed by architecture firm Cross & Cross, includes elaborate decorations depicting the power of electricity and radio waves. It is also known as the RCA Victor Building and is located at the corner of 51st Street. The building is best-known for its 30-foot, enameled terra cotta crown of Gothic spires, densely covered with filigree, which glows like a torch at night, when it is illuminated. The building is adjacent to and shares the salmon brick color of Saint Bartholomew's Church. In 1931, 570 Lexington Avenue was deeded to GE when RCA, a GE subsidiary, moved to Rockefeller Center.

In 1993, GE gave the building to Columbia University to gain a $40 million tax deduction. The university, with joint venture partners Mendik Company and Quantum Realty Partners, refurbished the building in 1994. Tower 570 Company, LP, an affiliate of the Feil Organization, is the buildings current owner. In 1995/1996, the Building Owners and Managers Association of New York (BOMA/NY) awarded the building the title of Excellence for a Historic Building. Tenants include the¾Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), Fabiani Cohen & Hall, LLP, construction and insurance litigation firm, and Carroll, McNulty & Kull, LLC, a law firm.
