HUB Retail and Office Center is a 172,982-square-foot mixed-use building, erected in 2007 by Related Companies, the developer and landlord. The retail and office center, designed by Ives, Schier & Lesser Architecture Studio, is located at 2984 to 3036 3rd Avenue in the Bronx. The development is not a wholly free-market enterprise.

Related Companies bought the site from the city for a relative bargain, $1 million, and received subsidies, including a $4 million low-interest loan on behalf of the citys Economic Development Corporation, $1.8 million in real estate and tax benefits courtesy of the New York Industrial Development Agency, and $500,000 from the office of the Bronx borough president for the project. Since the New York City Department of Finance is a tenant, the city provided an additional $16 million for the construction. Tenants include Aldi, Rite Aid, Forman Mills, Nine West Outlet, Sleepys, and MP Hub Parking.
