This residential and retail complex in Tribeca, on Greenwich Street between North Moore and Harrison Streets, includes 1,328 apartments in three 39-story towers. The four-acre complex on the Hudson River also features 54,500 square feet of street retail space, managed by Vornado Realty Trust, with tenants such as Duane Reade and Food Emporium.

Vornado bought a 58.75 percent stake in Independence Plaza in December 2012, following a 2011 deal in which it acquired a 51% interest in the complexs subordinated debt for $45 million and a warrant to purchase 25% of the equity for $1 million. The 2012 transaction valued the property at $844.8 million; at the time, it carried a $329.2 million mortgage.

Vornado manages the retail space at the property and Stellar Management, the other partner, manages the residential units.
