Theater revamp could spark Flushing revival

Some now speculate that the redevelopment of the former RKO theater in Flushing could spark a real estate resurgence in that area of Queens. The city approved plans this week to revamp the theater with 200 apartments, about 10,000 square feet of retail, a senior citizen center, and parking.
