Residents try to nix fifth Brooklyn Home Depot

Residents of Dyker Heights on Wednesday slammed Home Depot’s plans for a fifth Brooklyn location. The 100,000-square-foot store on 64th Street is part of a developer’s plan for a former Long Island Rail Road railyard in Dyker Heights that also includes 400,000 square feet of residential and office space. But neighborhood residents say the Home Depot would only add to already bad traffic congestion. more [NYDN]
