The Federal Reserve is not done raising interest rates, according to a recent survey of 142 economists. Nearly 40 percent of the economists said the Fed will raise the key federal funds rate to 4.75 percent, half a percentage point above the current 4.25 percent rate — but will not raise it any higher. The Fed is widely expected to raise the rate from 4.25 percent to 4.5 percent at its next meeting Jan. 31, Alan Greenspan’s last as chairman. more [WSJ]
