Single women likelier than men to own homes

Single women continue to be much more likelier homebuyers than single men. Single women, in fact, accounted for 21 percent of recent homebuyers, while single men accounted for 9 percent, according to a survey published in January by the National Association of Realtors. Why is that? more [NYT]
