Historic designation for Fieldston expected

The Landmarks Preservation Commission is expected early next month to designate a chunk of Riverdale in the Bronx as a historic district. The designation would cover 257 homes in the wealthy Fieldston enclave of Riverdale, but some speculate that the City Council may ultimately overrule the commission.
