City to re-examine tax break for construction

Mayor Bloomberg announced recently that the city would re-examine a popular tax incentive program that has supposedly fueled the construction of more than 110,000 housing units since 1971. A task force will look at whether the program, known as 421-a, is unnecessarily costing the city revenue. more [NYT]
