Opening of 7 World Trade pushed to May

Opening day for 7 World Trade Center has apparently been pushed back from April until mid-May. The 52-story tower in Lower Manhattan will spill more than 1 million square feet of available space onto the commercial market, as it has only a handful of tenants. The delay in opening is due more to construction tweaks than anything else, according to a spokesman for Larry Silverstein, 7 World Trade Center’s landlord. more [NYT via NYO]
