Mayor: Don’t hold Mets stadium for ransom

In what could be the opening salvo in a protracted battle, Mayor Bloomberg said the proposed Mets stadium in Queens should not be held for “ransom” by area residents and their elected leaders seeking incentives from the baseball franchise.
