Wal-Mart nixes New York store — for now

Wal-Mart has decided against opening a store in Queens. The retail giant had considered a big-box store in Flushing, but now says it’s considering several other locations throughout the city. A Wal-Mart spokesman, however, declined to say where those locations were. more [Sun] and more [NYDN]
