Increased airline flights to Vermont from New York City are helping drive up real estate prices in that bucolic New England state, according to a story out today by Bloomberg News. Affluent New Yorkers, the story reported, including former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan, are buying second homes in Vermont and hopping on one-hour flights to them from the Big Apple.
