Setback for city’s Hunts Point plan

A state judge’s preliminary ruling said yesterday that the city failed to give every company a fair chance to bid on a 15-acre site near the new Hunt’s Point Terminal Market in the South Bronx. Charging favoritism, a cooperative of 50 family-owned firms had sued to stop the city from leasing the site to Baldor Specialty Foods.
