Midtown rental may be razed for condos

Tenants are defiant at 220 Central Park South after learning yesterday that they could face eviction proceedings so a developer can tear the building down. If the demolition plan is approved, the 20-story building would be replaced with a 41-story glass condominium tower. more [NYT]
