Go directly to jail — and build condos

At least two jails in New York City are being converted to condos, widening the specter of what structures can be considered ripe for conversion. The House of Detention in Brooklyn’s Boerum Hill is slated for conversion, and the old Parkside Correctional Facility in Harlem will be known as 10 Mount Morris Park West when it becomes a condo. more [New Yorker]
