Cortlandt Street may be reopened

It looks as if Cortlandt Street in Lower Manhattan will be reopened between Church Street, which currently exists, and Greenwich Street, which would be recreated as part of the Ground Zero redevelopment. Cortlandt was closed in the 1960s so the World Trade Center could be developed on a single superblock. more [NYT]
