Pataki “disappointed” in Vantone decision

Gov. Pataki on Wednesday apparently phoned 7 World Trade Center landlord Larry Silverstein to express his disappointment over the failed lease agreement between Silverstein and Chinese real estate firm Beijing Vantone. The agreement collapsed even after government officials met with Silverstein on Vantone’s behalf. more [NYT]
