Home prices nationwide have stalled, according to numbers out on Tuesday from the National Association of Realtors. But, in the New York City region, they continue to rise more robustly. The median single-family-home price nationally rose just 3.7 percent from the second quarter of 2005 through the second quarter of 2006 to $227,500.
