State home sales drop in second quarter

Home sales dropped in the second quarter of 2006 in 28 states and the District of Columbia, according to a report released on Tuesday by the National Association of Realtors. Nationally, sales dropped 7 percent from April through June compared with the same time period last year. In New York State, sales dropped 4.8 percent year over year. more [WSJ]
