NASCAR stadium could reduce parking

The developers of the proposed NASCAR stadium on the West Shore of Staten Island said the number of parking spots outside the raceway could be reduced. International Speedway Corporation said the number could be reduced from 8,400 to below 5,000 to encourage people to take ferries and buses to races.
