Staten Island leads city in foreclosure rate

Staten Island had the highest rate of foreclosure auctions per household among the five boroughs in the second quarter of 2006. New York City’s least-populous borough had a foreclosure rate more than 15 percent times that of Manhattan’s and twice the rate of Brooklyn and Queens. more By Tom Acitelli
