Merrill Lynch hires eyes

Merrill Lynch has hired a prominent property management firm to help it find new office space. Representatives from Jones Lang LaSalle have been on the hunt for Merrill, casting “a pretty wide net out to look for alternatives” to the firm’s current leasing situation at the World Financial Center. Recently, Merrill sources have hinted that they are considering not only a move out of the World Financial Center, but possibly out of Downtown, or even out of New York City altogether.
