Macklowe takes 1330 Sixth Avenue

Developer Harry Macklowe just won a “fierce bidding war” for 1330 Sixth Avenue, which he purchased from Deka First Real Estate for $498 million. Though that works out to nearly $1,000 a square foot, The Post’s Steve Cuozzo reports that 40 percent of the building’s space will be on the market next year, which will enable Macklowe to exploit Midtown’s hot leasing market.
