MoMA sells parcel, gets new building

The Museum of Modern Art is selling a parcel of land to Houston-based developer Hines for $125 million. In exchange, Hines will construct a building on the site at West 54th Street that connects to MoMA’s main gallery space. The building will house some of the museum’s collection; no architect has been named for the project. more [NYT]
