“Solid” Brooklyn sales in 2006

Median fourth quarter apartment prices in northern Brooklyn rose 22 percent over 2005, according to a report from the Corcoran Group. For 2006 as a whole, the rate of price appreciation on co-ops and condos in Brooklyn was only about half what it was the year before. Still, appraiser Jonathan Miller says that compared to the rest of the country, the borough is “on much more solid footing.” more [NYDN]
