Plans for the Fulton Street Transit Center, which will offer connections to 12 subway lines, will proceed largely as they were originally envisioned, despite a recent skirmish on the MTA’s board about the project’s costs. The Lower Manhattan transit hub has received $847 million in federal funds, but its projected cost is now $888 million.
