The Museum for African Art, which has not had a permanent space for its collections since it opened in 1984, will move to a new Robert A.M. Stern-designed building on 110th Street and Fifth Avenue. The project will cost $80 million to build. In addition to the museum, the building will have 115 market-rate apartments. It will be the first new addition to Museum Mile since 1959, when the Guggenheim opened. more [Curbed]
