Zillow estimates mostly on target

An analysis by the Wall Street Journal found that the computer-generated estimates of home values provided by Zillow Inc. are usually very accurate, but that the company’s “Zestimates” are significantly off target about 10 percent of the time. The company says its estimates are most reliable for mid-range homes in areas where there are many comparable properties, but that they are not as accurate for low- or high-end homes. more [WSJ]
