Atlantic Yards setback for Ratner

A judge ruled yesterday that developer Shaya Boymelgreen had illegally sold a lease on two properties in the Atlantic Yards footprint to Forest City Ratner, the developer of the Brooklyn mega-project. Control of the two properties, which cover an acre of land on the site, was reverted to their original owner, Henry Weinstein. Weinstein is one of 13 property owners challenging the state’s right to displace them via eminent domain in order to make way for Atlantic Yards. more [NYT]
