Broadway Partners is in contract to buy a national portfolio from Beacon Capital Partners that includes the Park Avenue Atrium, at 237 Park Avenue, and 100 Wall Street. Broadway Partners will likely pay $5 billion for the entire portfolio. The Park Avenue Atrium’s tenants include J Walter Thompson and Bear Stearns. Bear Stearns recently announced it would be expanding its lease in the building to over 250,000 square feet. Tenants at 100 Wall Street include the GFI Group, Harris Beach and Bollinger Insurance. more [NYO]
