NY, London vie for financial clout

Separate studies conducted in New York and London disagree on which city is the leading global financial center. A study commissioned by the Partnership for New York City found that New York ranked first in financial clout, ahead of London and nine other big cities. But another survey, commissioned by the City of London, puts London on top.
