Zell courts “inefficient” media biz

Real estate magnate Samuel Zell, who is in talks to buy the Tribune Company, said he is interested in getting into the newspaper business because he’s “always been intrigued by inefficient markets.” The Tribune Company is rumored to be favoring Zell’s bid and could make a decision on the buyout offer sometime this week. more [NYT]
