Like other new baseball facilities across the country, the new Yankee and Mets stadiums will incorporate “mallpark” designs, with a variety of fancy restaurants and food courts. The new Mets stadium, dubbed “CitiField,” is expected to sport Queens’ largest billboard, which will advertise Citigroup. The financial services giant will pay the Mets $400 million over the next couple decades for the prominent signage.
